# Web app

Use the [web app](https://useren.ai/app) to chat with Ren, attach files, and review its work in your browser.

## When to use the web app

- **Inspect work:** Expand individual steps to see Ren's actions. Send more instructions between messages.
- **Review results:** Open the reports, dashboards, and files Ren creates next to the chat that made them.
- **Answer questions and approve actions:** Respond in the chat. [Channel](/docs/channels/) and [scheduled](/docs/concepts/schedules/) chats can't ask questions and deny actions that need approval.
- **Manage Ren:** Create [spaces](/docs/concepts/spaces/) and [projects](/docs/concepts/projects/), invite teammates,
  connect apps, and map channels.

Use [channels](/docs/channels/) for requests from team conversations, and continue those chats in the web app. Use the
[CLI](/docs/surfaces/cli/) or [MCP](/docs/surfaces/mcp/) to manage Ren from a terminal or another AI tool.

## Choose how to assign work

Ren can research topics, summarize data from apps, analyze files, write code, and create reports, dashboards, and pages.
For example, ask it to turn meeting notes into a follow-up email.

Choose how to hand off work:

- **Delegate a one-off request** in a [chat](/docs/concepts/chats/).
- **Track work** that people and Ren share as a [task](/docs/concepts/tasks/).
- **Repeat work** on a timer, like a weekly report, with a [schedule](/docs/concepts/schedules/).

[Apps](/docs/concepts/apps/) provide tools, while files and repositories provide context for the work.
